2020 Striders' Ball Update:

As a public health organization, the American Cancer Society is committed to the well-being of all communities - especially cancer patients and caregivers who are central to our mission. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our 25th Anniversary Striders' Ball. This was not an easy decision to make. We will not be hosting a large-scale, in-person event at the Hilton Netherland Plaza as we anticipated, but we can still make a difference in other ways.

We still have so much to celebrate, and we are counting on YOU to help. Cancer doesn't quit...and neither will the American Cancer Society. COVID-19 could reduce the American Cancer Society's funding of cancer research by 50% in 2020 if current trends continue. Please consider a donation to help the American Cancer Society fund life-saving research and mission programs.

Thank you for supporting the 2020 Striders' Ball and the fight against cancer. We deeply appreciate your ongoing generosity in supporting cancer researchers, patient and survivor services and prevention interventions centered in Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Your continued support in 2020 is the cornerstone of our efforts to fund our life-saving mission. Thank you for supporting during such uncertain times, and we hope you can join us at next year's Striders' Ball!

"Save the Date" for Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Hilton Netherland Plaza!

About Us

For more than a 100 years, The American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. With your support, we have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. By translating our research findings into action, we've seen a 20% decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s. Join us to help finish the fight.
